About Me:
Silent Fright is Matt Smith . My love for art in multi media disciplines has led me to falling in love with graphic design. I am also branching out and learning motion graphics to mix my art passion with my previous animation experience.
My past education:
I attended art school at Munson Williams Proctor Institute in Utica NY and recieved my Associated in Fine Arts in '00. I then went to RIT in Rochester NY for Fine Arts/Illustration and recieved my BFA in '02.
Worked in shipping and recieving warehouse for a year, and realized how much life sucked.
Then in 2003 I went to Full Sail University for my A.S. in Computer Animation.
Presently:
I teach Art at Full Sail University full time as an Associate Course Director, in the Computer Animation department. And freelance part time in the Graphic Design field.
Found what it means to be a real christ follower, met my future wife through video games and church.
Got married in September 2007

Design Experience:
I am available for freelance/contract hire for design work, I have experience with working with various types of Print design, Apparel Design, Logo Development, and Corperate packaging.
I have worked for various clients and underground bands all over the U.S. and some in Europe. Some of Clients that I have worked for are: Bomb Works Records, Highland Myst Entertainent, Common Yet Forbidden, Echo Me Astronaut, Evan Burck Recordings, Gen X Energy Group, Hair Benders Salon, Home Sweet Homeless, Svolk, Knghtmare- Productions, St. Valentines Massacre, Unsaid, Mind over Fabric, Trindigo, Creative Unite, and Movie Mafia Productions.
